I have to apologize for the large gap in blogs this year. I sold the Sequoia to someone who wanted to go to the Overland Expo in AZ and just gave it up. It took me a while but I finally found another one. I got myself a beat-up 2000 Lexus LX470 with 209,000 miles on it for $4800 from an auction, with the help of a local dealer. These drive better than the Sequoia and actually run a bit cheaper than it’s contemporary brother, the Land Cruiser. They were more expensive new, but more of them were sold in the U.S. so more of them are available.
I’ll be taking it out to the deserts of Palms Springs next week and will write about it. Stay tuned.
